Maynooth University is located in the heart of Ireland’s only university town. It is 25km from the centre of Dublin in North Kildare. The beautiful campus is divided into North and South by the Kilcock Road.

#EWA 2020 takes place in the Maynooth University, Arts and Humanities Institute, Iontas Building on Maynooth University North Campus.

Travelling to Maynooth from abroad

Maynooth lies 33km south-west of Dublin Airport, around 40 minutes travel time by car. Over 50 airlines operate from 170 destinations to Dublin Airport, with up to 600 flights per day. The Airport is served by buses to Dublin city-centre and an airport shuttle bus service directly from the airport to Maynooth (See Maynooth Airport Hopper for more details).

Travelling to Maynooth from Dublin city-centre

BUS: Maynooth is served by two Dublin Bus routes, the 66 (Maynooth via Palmerstown: timetable), and the 67 (Maynooth via Celbridge: timetable). The 66/67 runs frequent services to Maynooth with pick-ups at several bus stop locations on the south side of the Liffey. See map below for the location of Dublin Bus stops for the 66/67. It takes approximately one hour from Dublin to Maynooth by bus.

TRAIN: Maynooth lies on the Western Commuter Line which serves the Dublin city-centre stations of Pearse Station, Tara Street Station, and Connolly Station.
